 ⁴ The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of Elohe went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown. NIV

[Chapter 12]

 1 Before these things Enoch was hidden, and no one of the children of men knew where he was 2 hidden, and where he abode, and what had become of him. And his activities had to do with the Watchers, and his days were with the Set Apart ones. 3 And I Enoch was expressing my joy of the Master of majesty and the King of the ages, and lo! The Watchers 4 called me –Enoch the scribe- and said to me: 'Enoch, you scribe of righteousness, go, declare to the Watchers of the Shamayim who have left the high Shamayim, the Set Apart eternal place, and have defiled themselves with women, and have done as the children of earth do, and have taken unto themselves 5 wives: "Ye have wrought great destruction on the earth: And ye shall have no peace nor forgiveness 6 of sin: and inasmuch as they delight themselves in their children, The murder of their beloved ones shall they see, and over the destruction of their children shall they lament, and shall make supplication unto eternity, but mercy and peace shall ye not attain."'

The ancient Scroll of Enoch which was found with the Dead Sea Scrolls paints a picture of what transpired in ancient times.

A group of celestial beings called the Watchers were observing the earth from a position outside of the earth’s atmosphere. They became enamored with the human females and came down to take all they would choose as wives. The offspring born to them were called Nephilim; from the Hebrew word N’phyl meaning those who came down. This word is sometimes translated “giant”, although their offspring was huge, giant is not a correct translation.

ANOTHER LOOK

Some may say, wait a minute, how could these messengers cohabitate with human females. I don’t know, they always told me that there were no female angels, which I believed until I read this:

Zechariah 5:9

Then I looked up--and there before me were two women, with the wind in their wings! They had wings like those of a stork, and they lifted up the basket between heaven and earth. NIV

It is amazing what one can learn when their beliefs and ideas are not clouded by an endeavor to support some denominational belief.

Let us continue, the question should be asked, who were the watchers? Now let’s separate religion and myth from reality. Understand that there is more to what people have believed over the years than can even be conceived. There was a time in human existence when there was no difference between science and religion. The priests, rabbis, imam, shaman, witchdoctors and the like were the scientist of their day but their science was more superstition than anything close to true science. The earth existed for thousands of years without any true science. True science did not come into existence until people like Copernicus and Galileo came along; thus creating the conflict that exists today between religion and science. We will try to bridge the gap.

The Paiute Native American Tribe of Nevada tells of red-haired giants as tall as 12 feet who originally lived in the area where the Paiutes settled. The Paiutes revealed that the giants were cannibals; with their tribe as the often main course. After some time of enduring the tyranny of the giants the local indigenous people of the area got together and mounted a united front against the giants, killing most of them with the remainder fleeing into a nearby cave and refusing to exit until the tribe set fire to the entrance, killing as many as tried to escape and asphyxiating the rest. 

Fast forward to modern times, in 1911 local farmers looking for fertilizer for their crops came upon the cave with the intention of collecting the bat guano on the floor of the cave. After collecting several feet worth of bat guano the farmers came upon bones, very large bones. It was reported that the skeletons ranged in height from 8 to 12 feet.

The Hebrew prophet Enoch stated in the First Scroll of Enoch that one of the reasons why the earth was destroyed originally by water was because of the fact that the Nephilim were cannibalising humanity to the point that they had almost killed most of the people on the earth.

In Peru recently there have been discoveries of enlarged skulls that are in the same appearance as the alien greys that many have claimed to see in our time.

                          

The ancient Sumerians told stories of how beings came from the stars and through genetic manipulation created the race of humans that exist on the earth today. The question does not relate to what happened in relation to the race that came into existence but the fact of who they actually were. The Nephilim were a race of beings whose fathers came from the stars.

Today we call beings like that ALIENS.
